The High Victorian Gothic house, Protected Structure — Brazil Associates | Architects was completely designed by Dublin based Architects, Brazil Associates & Studio Brazil Interiors, Ireland’s leading Architectural and Interior Design practice. This practice is a dynamic and innovative design led firm committed to producing buildings of quality.

Brazil Associates has built a particular reputation for designing, building and renovating many exemplary private residences. The practice has considerable experience and expertise in hotel, restaurant, commercial fit out and conservation projects.

The house featured is the epitome of High Victorian Gothic, typical of the period, built between 1860 and 1863 to the designs of well known Belfast born architects Lanyon Lynn for their client, Judge William Carey Dobbs.

We are delighted to be associated with the project. Brazil Associates and Studio Brazil Interiors selected from our custom colouring wallcovering service, using our plain sisal wallpaper in their own custom colour. They also installed our Alison Circles design which was hand screen printed in their own combination of colours to dramatic effect.

Brazil Associates Architects were commissioned to renovate and extend this unique country hunting lodge in Caher, Co Clare, Ireland. This hunting lodge is a protected structure Country Hunting Lodge — Brazil Associates | Architects

The primary element of the project involved designing an extension of an orangery, a new bespoke kitchen, dining and seating area which afforded views over the magnificent grounds and surrounding lake. A library and a home bar were also new additions, Brazil Associates in collaboration with Studio Brazil Interiors carefully considered all of the internal details, including bespoke panelling, stone, timber floor finishes, joinery, lighting, curtains and wall paper.

Studio Brazil Interiors selected Corn Damask for the traditional dining room. Corn Damask is one of Bernard Thorp’s Classic Damask designs and it was custom coloured for this project. Corn Damask is also available as a custom hand screen printed fabric.
